What are the days and hours of operation?

The Adventure Park is open rain or shine so we recommend dressing for the weather! If you don’t want to climb in the rain, you may always reschedule for a different day even if we remain open for a $15 rescheduling fee per ticket. In the event of severe weather (such as thunder, lightning, or high winds) the courses may close. Although we are unable to offer refunds, in the event of park closures, your time may be extended or vouchers will be made available for you to use toward future climbs that season!
Regarding Severe Weather
At the Park we make the safety of customers and staff our top priority. When lightning strikes within a certain radius, we will close. Whether we open back up on a given day depends on the forecast. If our county is under a severe thunderstorm warning or watch, we may decide to close in anticipation of a storm rather than wait for it to hit. While it may appear that skies are clear at the Park, if radar indicates any danger coming, we must close. We will make every effort to contact leaders of any remaining reservations in a day should we be forced to close due to weather. If you are unable to reach us and the forecast is uncertain, please call our TreEscape phone number, 862-801-7028, where we will post updates regarding closures.
Am I able to cancel my reservation?
- We do operate rain or shine and through most weather conditions. If we are not operational due to high winds or thunder and lightning, we will make the call that morning or with as much notice as the weather allows
- There is a 24-hour cancellation policy on all reservations. All refunds must be requested more than 24 hours prior to your reservation date and time.
- If you are not able to make it to your reservation and have less than a 24-hour notice, we will not be able to issue a refund but can reschedule you to a new date or time for $15.00 per ticket
- We ask that you show up at least 20 minutes before your reservation time to assure that you check in and are ready to go prior to your start time.
What trails are kids allowed to climb by age?

What are the ticket prices?
More information, including our group rates, can be found on the Hours & Pricing page. Every guest must purchase a ticket – harnesses may not be shared.
Can I watch my family/friends climb?
Spectators do not need to purchase a ticket but must complete a waiver and obtain a spectator wristband.
What is the time duration of the ticket?
Tickets valid for a 3 hour experience from your reservation start time (not arrival time.) You are encouraged to be prepared prior to buying your tickets (i.e. restrooms, snacks and dressed properly) so you can maximize your time in the park.
Are reservations required?
What clothing should I wear?
Choosing your climbing clothes is important. You will want to select well-fitted clothing that does not hang loose as it can get tangled in cables and rope. Long hair must be tied back and leave your jewelry at home. Closed-toed shoes are a must – and we recommend sneakers or hiking shoes/boots (shoes with heels, flip-flops, and sandals are not allowed). Your harnesses must be worn as the outer most layer, so please plan accordingly.
What equipment is provided?
A harness and safety lanyard are provided. Gloves are required and may be purchased on the Hours & Pricing page.
Is there a height, age, or weight restriction?
Minimum height is 36 inches, and the maximum weight is 265 pounds. TreEscape has courses for ages 4 and up. Please see the “Course list and age description” chart here for more specific information.
How difficult are the trails?
Courses range from purple (easiest) to yellow, green, blue, and black (expert). Each participant’s fitness level will determine how many and which courses they can complete in their 3-hour timeframe.
Can the ropes course operate in the rain?
TreEscape can still be fun while it is raining. However, the park will close for severe weather such as heavy rain, thunderstorms, and high winds. If high wind gusts are possible, our higher courses may temporarily close.
Is the TreEscape Adventure Park certified?
The Park is built to ACCT (Association of Challenge Course Technology) specifications, among the most stringent ropes course safety standards in the world. This certification is renewed each year by a third-party inspector. Additionally, the State of New Jersey and an arborist conduct annual inspections.
What food services are available?
We offer a full service restaurant and bar at the clubhouse as well as a snack stand located within the park. Learn more here!
Are we allowed to bring our own food?
No outside food or beverage is allowed to be brought into TreEscape other than individual, sealed bottles of water. However, exceptions are made for Guests with special medical needs where their well-being may be compromised while in the park. Guests with special medical needs will be required to show proof of medical condition in the form of a physician’s note, medical device, tattoo, ID bracelet or approved medical card.
Are lockers available?
Yes, we offer lockers to guests at time of harnessing. Lockers are free to guests and based on availability.
Is there a fee for parking?
No, parking is free for all guests.

When you arrive
When you arrive please follow the instructions below:
- Follow signage to TreEscape located off CR 517 adjacent to the Great Gorge Golf Club
- Follow signage for “TreEscape Parking”
- Proceed to TreEscape check-in booth for registration.
- You will take a short hike into the park (less than half a mile) after which point you will be fitted for a harness, receive brief instruction, and then begin your climbing experience .
